It’s here! Immortal Connections just launched on Kickstarter!
Immortal Connections is the first book in my first-ever, epic fantasy series, Celestial Cataclysms. A soft sequel to the A Thousand Li series, it expands the scope of the world significantly, bringing our heroes across all three realms: the thirty six heavens, the Middle Kingdom and the demonic realms. The series was a challenge to write, with multiple storylines for each character in the first book, resulting in an epic 300k word novel. The entire story will be told over 9 nine volumes, planned to be released once a year, with the story told in three arcs.
Writing Immortal Connections was both comforting – in working with old and familiar characters – and challenging, in balancing all the storylines, pacing and focus of the work. It’s my most ambitious work to date, expanding the lore of the universe while making entry to the world easy.
I can only hope, that once you’ve read it, you’ve enjoyed the series as much as I have writing it.
