Also known as a pantser. So, I’m 90% done it seems with book 6 of the System Apocalypse.
Problem is, the ‘ending’ that I figured I’d write which was in my head is much less… I don’t know, climaxy than I thought it would be. Some of it is the introduction and implications of earlier things I added as I wrote, some of it just makes more sense. So, here I am…
Unsure if what I’ve got for an ending is good. I’m debating adjusting it slightly after I finish writing, hopefully it ends up right. But it might be a case of setting the work aside for a week or two to see if the brain reacquires something better.
Bah. Being a discovery writer is frustrating at times.
Personally, I loved the ending of book 5. Even though I generally don’t care for cliff-hangers, I’m really looking forward to see what the impossible quest looks like and to see where the story goes from there.
I am hanging out for it anyway!
Unless it’s the end of the series, the ending is what the ending decides to be.
